Unfortunately it is normal. Your little guy has some very sore gums right now and eating causes them to hurt more. It even hurts to suck right now, so drinking milk whether it be from a bottle or nursing is painful right now. If he really seems uncomfortable you can give him some baby Tylenol, but don't get him hooked. Get a wet washcloth and freeze it. Give that to him before he eats and it might numb them enough to eat without pain. You can also use baby Ambesol. He'll get better at it when more teeth come in.

Yes, it's normal. What to Expect the First Year is a great book. I highly recommend it, too. CHECK WITH YOUR PEDIATRICIAN FIRST but I gave mine Tylenol when he seemed really fussy. If his gums don't hurt, he will be more likely to eat something. He does need some hard things to chew on- teething ring, teething biscuits, My sister-in-law told me to freeze bagels and my son loved that.

Absolutely...believe me girl babies will eat when they're hungry, he won't starve himself. Cutting a tooth can be equated to a toothache, do we want to eat when we have one? No, so don't worry. He'll probably get very fussy and could even run a bit of a temerature...it's all normal.

Yes, I believe it is. His mouth is sore and sometimes the teething causes a fever. Try cool food and those biting "toys" that you can put in the refrigerator. They seem to help the most.

Yep, normal. I used teething tablets for my kids. They are quick disolving & seem to work pretty good. Just keep offering the food & when he is ready he'll eat. Also offer safe things to bite down on. Good luck!

yes this is normal, he will act differently at different ages maybe this one just hurts a bit more. Keep offering him food but try not to worry too much about it, maybe try teething gel before feed times.

Yes it's normal.

I recommend the "What to expect" series of books. They have lots of answers to questions like this. The book most relevant to you right now is "What to expect, the first year"

well my guess is that it hurts like a mother when he eats because he is cutting another tooth.
