Depends on your relationship with the person graduating and in part where you are in your life financially.
If you are a student yourself these guidelines work.
If it is a relative or your best friend, $50 is a nice gift. If it is someone you are not as close to, $25 is totally acceptable.
If you are older, out in the work force and have the means you can certainly give more if you can afford it.

When I graduated high school over four years ago, most of my cards had $30 in them. My family, of course, gave me a lot more, but on average it went from $20-$30 for people that knew me through church or through my parents or were parents of some of my friends.

Depends on your financial status and closeness to the graduate. I am lower middle income adult. I woud give $25 to a casual acquaintance, $50 to a friend or distant relative (second cousin), $100 to close friend or closer relative (nephew).

Anwhere from $ 25-$50 is plenty for a casual friend. For someone you really love and care about, $ 100 would be more than generous.

I guess it all depends on the person and how close you are to them and their family. I am going to my nieces graduation party today and I am giving her $100. We also have another graduation party today and we are not very close to the person or family so I am giving $ 25.

Depending on how well you the know person, the average amount is usually $50. However, give them less if it's someone you really don't know that well, or have not known for very long. Possibly give more if it's your sibling, etc.

Good, close friend $50. If it's one of the dozen or so parties you feel obligated to go to...25 or 30 should do.

Depends on how well you know them and their parents. $25 if you are just kinda friendly, $50 if you're a little closer, $100 if you are good friends
