One must weigh all options and costs of a vehicle when purchasing it, not just gas.
A car might get great gas mileage but be prone to live in the mechanic shop, in turn costing you more than any gas drinking SUV.
Never base a decision on one item, bring in all the facts for the full picture and you will always come out on top.

Why are you bothered? Your attendents won't risk letting you out to drive and even if they do, you'll be more bothered about the price of a car on minimum wage than the price of gas.

definitely, with the price of gas soaring weekly you'll have to consider it. if i were to buy car a now i'd probably buy a hybrid it may cost more upfront but i think in the long run you'll get its worth

If there's no gas it will certainly affect the kind of car you buy next. Sure.
