Does it happen? Does it LAST? I can't remember who it was but this dude in a famous band wrote
a song about a girl that he saw in the crowd at one of his shows- which I thought was really sweet.
I mean I know I don't have a chance with Davey Havok (who im going to meet!!) or Lily Lazer (cuz hes married:P) but
I wonder if other people have done it before?

It has probably happened, but rarely. I believe that usually the stars are just using the fans. How much of an ego booster is THAT to be with someone who ADORES you.

I play in a band and I can tell you this. Guys that are in rock bands dont neccessarily "date" the fans. They might, have sex with them several times over, but there isnt a whole lot of dating happening.

I think if it did happen, the fan would be a very lucky fan, and think he/she was in heaven (at least for the first part of the relationship).

rockstars and their groupies? how long does it last? it depends on the girls. if they're crazy enough about the rockstars, they'd follow them all over the world on their tour. no chance of getting married. there'll be more girls coming. just ask Kings of Leon. yeah, i know what you're up to, mister!
