I'm wondering what type of party it is and for how many people. Turn it into a themed party - decorate the house (i.e. Hawaiian theme or whatever, stuff can be had really cheap at those discount card and craft stores). Serve tropical drinks like pina coladas and whatever. Have hula dance contests - they sell "grass" skirts for something like $5, along with coconut bras - that would be fun. Good luck!

Relax.
If the food is good, and the drinks are flowing parties usually take care of themselves - BEWARE - a stressed out host puts the guests on edge.
* Put on your favorite tunes at least an hour before people arrive - get yourself in the mood
* At random points put on a "BLAST FROM THE PAST" (songs from ages ago!) - this is not only a conversation booster but gets people up.
* Create "spaces" - Chill zone, food zone, MUSIC zone ... whatever you can - people love to have choices and to have places to go. (This works especially well if its a large party)
FINALLY: Make sure you have:
* Garbage bags - nothing relaxes people more than knowing where to put the empties!
* Toilet Paper - nothing is remembered more than not being able to wipe your ****
* Buckets - nothing is praised more than a bucket after a bucketful!

it depends on what party you were going to have to start off with. If you were just gonna have a party with booze, music, barbeque etc then still have the party indoors with booze and music.
I don't have much to work with here babe. Give me some idea of what you were originally thinking of - what type of people are coming etc...

Tell everyone it's a beach theme. Nothing but fun even if it's inside. Put beach ball and towels on the floor stick up clam's and star fish on the walls and let the fun just happen.

normally this kinf od things, u should have lunch or dinner 1st and drinking some wine and talking about stuff then put the plates away and wash them later. and just sit down at the living room and put on some movies and talk about something or just talk. good luck! hope this help!

I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD FIRST SET UP TWISTER THE GAME BECAUSE THAT'S REALLY FUN AND YOU CAN DO IT INDOORS OR OUTDOORS. PEOPLE WILL REALLY ENJOY THAT.
