no,okra grows quite well on it's own. just don't to forget to harvest it when the pods are about 3" long, and harvest often. anything over 3" gets tough.

They should be strong enough on their own but if they are falling over stake them. Hope you get lots of okra.

No. When you start getting okra make sure you check the plants everyday. The pods get huge before you know it. And wear long sleeves and gloves if you have sensitive skin. They can be prickly.

No okra doesn't need to be staked. It's strong by itself.

lots relies upon on the size of your backyard. each year I constantly plant tomato's and green bell peppers. it rather is like a gardeners nicely-known. i'm attempting banana peppers this year (i've got been given the seeds from a banana pepper i offered final year from a Mennonite farm - i wish they don't seem to be hybrid). Asparagus in a raised mattress is stable, even yet it takes 2 years for the roots to completely set up, yet YUMMY! as quickly as everyday all you need to do is cut back them and enable them to fern out on the top of the season - very low maintenance. String beans are rapid growers. I plant one row each and each week so they do no longer are available in all of sudden. i wish to can or freeze lots for the wintry climate this year (in the event that they make it to wintry climate :D ) Lima beans, yet i need to be the only man or woman interior the international besides my mothers and fathers and farmers to advance them. Fall and early spring favorites are sugar snap peas and spinach. stable success on your gardening journey!
