The only way to tell if a fish's nose is runny, is to take it to the emergency room. If he is running a fever, they will probably put the fish on IV and guarantine him. Chances are, if the nose is runny, he will not make it through the night. Make sure the insurance policy is paid up, and call the funeral director and get the obituary ready.

fish don't really have external noses like we do that stick out but they do have tiny nostrils and in some cases an excellent sense of smell they do not however get runny noses when they get sick they do not have symptoms that would compare with mammals

they do have noses of sorts,look above there mouth and you will see 2 small holes,thats how they detect food. how can a fish have a runny nose ????
