We have a big glass room on the back of our house. The house is very ordinary, so when people come in and see the house flooded with light they always comment on it, want to go to that beautiful room, and always ask many questions about it. It amazes me that so many people are drawn to "light". Something to think about!

My husband has this thing for eagles. We have an eagle lamp in the office with an brown lampshade. It is the ugliest lamp you'll ever see. Don't get me wrong, it matches the office perfectly. LOL!
If you walk in the room at night (before you put the light on), the bird looks like it's gonna snatch you up as his prey. Lots of people have done doubletakes or have screamed. Quite funny!

I've got a replica skull of an Estemmenosuchus - it's fun watching people try to guess what it is! So far the only ones who do are those who've read James Gurney's Dinotopia books :)

A hand thrown vase that stands about 3' tall that my mother made me, the handles on it are fish from my two sons first fishing trip. When they arrived home from fishing my mother cast the fish in plaster and made molds. We get lots of compliments on it!!! Happy Day!!!

My 5 cats...without a doubt, one of them will do something stupid and it will initiate a conversation about their actions. Plus, they are gorgeous, so people immediately notice them and dote over them.
