No question, it's Detroit, they're kicking butt & taking names.

The White Sox.
The Tigers.

I never expected The Tigers to be doing so well this year.

I knew they would improve this year, but never like this.

I think The White Sox will (at some point) win The AL Central.

The Tigers will finish 2nd place, quite possibly the wild card.

Even though the red sox have won so many games in a row still does not make up for the fact that

THE TWO BEST TEAMS IN MLB ARE IN THE AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL DIVISION!

Detroit is too easy of an answer.

The Twins are on a very hot streak. Yes, they were weak in teh begining, but their young guys have come around. With Mauer leading the whole league in batting, and other guys like Morneau and Cuddeyer hitting well, they have been scoring many more runs than previously. Pitching has also been hot in the last few weeks. Santana has been great as always, but young prodigy Liriano is a carbon copy and should be feared just as much as Santana as of late. Winning 11 out of their last 12, i'd have to vote the Twins at this particular time.

Hey! No doubt about it! Detroit! Look at the Win and Loss Column! Who is whopping some white sox, and red sox's Butt HUH?! Even though red sox has 7 game winning streak, they still have lots of things that they struggle! White sox is just the stupidiest team in the AL! The head coach is a mouth-trasher! Cardinals in the other hand is just counting on Pujol's Homeruns! He is probably so good that he might take a Bondism Drug! You see... Detroit is the healthiest Team out there. No drugs no nothing! Sorry! :-)

I would say the Chicago White Sox. The 3 game sweep over the Cardinals was impressive.

A very good case could also be made for the Oakland A's. After a pitiful May they've been on a tear in June. They've overtaken Texas for 1st place.

Oakland Athletics, fo sho. Sure, May sucked, but the lovely thing about the A's is they always get hot in the summer months, and this June has been no exception. A 10-game winning streak, winning 12 out of last 14...just good baseball going on there.

Even though I'm a huge Cardinals fan and, no offense, don't like the A.L., I'm gonna have to go with the White Sox, especially after seeing them....well, you know....
