How long did you work there? You may be eligible for unemployment insurance, even at age 16, if you are not in school. Contact your state's agency that handles unemployment insurance and inquire about it, or look on the web for information for your state.
If you have to work, accept what work you can do. You may have gotten lucky in this situation, or the employer may have seen promise in you, but then, for some reason, you let them down and they discharged you.
Take whatever work you can find, and keep looking for a better job. Work hard and you may get promoted to that higher paying job again.
Good luck.

$10/hour aint all that great, so it should be pretty easy to match that at another job or at least get close. Some retail clothing stores and "big box" electronics stores start you out at $8.15. See if you can get a job that schedules you for 40 hours, though, because in some states they don't have to pay benefits until you're over 36 hours consistently... which is probably why you only got scheduled for 36.
PS a lot of people are suggesting unemployment. Sure, go down to the office and fill in the forms; it's free, after all, but don't count on it or base your finances on it because it's very hard to collect unemployment if you've been fired. Unemployment's really there to help people who are downsized or laid off.

It is not the end of the world see if you can get your unemployment until you calm your nerves and figure out what it is you want to do. Remember it's not the amount of money we make it's what we do with it how we spend it. Sorry about your job there will be others maybe something better will come along. If you feel as though you wasn't at fault then you can file with the EEOC to try and solve your issue.

The question is....do you need money every week?
If so then take something that will give you a new experience, until that job you really want comes along.
If you don't need the money, Enjoy life for alittle longer. Shortly you will find that your life is nothing but work, and you'll wish you were 16 again.

In your employment career, you should always be looking for the next job and one that pays you more. Unfortunately, employee employer loyalty has gone out the window, so the drivers for employees should be money and job satisfaction. Seeking more money in your next assignment will keep you on edge, cause you to get skills that will get you more money. Best of luck

well you need to go and find another job. Maybe depending on why you lost your job you will beable to find a job similar to it. If not, take your first job then if something comes up better then go to work at that job. A job is better than NO job......... as i tell my friends...... To get a job is to have a job...........
