Shaving has no influence on the future hair growth, what ever you'd like to reach by it.

No, when you shave you are only skimming the surface of the skin. This doesn't effect the roots or hair follicles in anyway. Shaving on any part of your body will not make your hair grow thicker or faster. It is simply an "Old Wives Tale". Body hair grows thicker with age, so if you shave and it grows back it may be thicker but it isn't because you shaved.

I shave so that I don't grow a full beard, and that works for me.

Nope, it doesn't work. I've been trying to grow one for 31 years. I'll never be able to grow a full beard. There is nothing you can do to make it happen. Some of us just never will. Don't freak out and kill yourself, there are others out there just like you.

If you shave regularly it will promote more hair growth. But if youre young and dont really have facial hair yet, then I reccomend you wait to start shaving...it is not as much fun as you would think.
