That seems quite low for a high temperature...but I don't know what you are used to.

Mine was in Arizona in 1980, the year the heat wave went through. It was 120* in the shade!! Very hot!!!

Saudi Arabia out in open desert: 120 degrees F.
Then around 50 degrees F and falling by 15 minutes after sunset. It would get below freezing just about every night.

70 degree celcius is a very high temperature, equilavent to 158 fahrenheit. That must be some kind of record.

the hottest temperature i encountered is 38 degrees celcius (about 100 fahrenheit) only, in Malaysia.

If you only count the shade (where weather men take temps) then 110 degrees Fahrenheit. But, in the sun, I have been in 132 degrees Fahrenheit. This was in the central valley in California.
