I'm studying to be a video game designer now in college (Art Institute of Washington). I like the school but they screw you out of sooooo much money.
I've also been to the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. It was pretty interesting and I could tell you it's an excellent school, but for me, the atmosphere just wasn't right. There's a lot of weird kids there...but you'll get that in any art school, I guess.
I've also heard that VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) is pretty good for normal art courses.

Can't wait to get into the field. If my boss really carries a beer around like my teachers say, I'll laugh.
What a great environment huh?

For my career, I am planning to become a film director. Since I am expected to make storyboards as an essential part of film production, I'll would have to improve my drawing skills. So I think the best places to learn at is the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the Art Institute of California.

I've been a graphic designer for the past 15 years. It's been very interesting. It has it's ups and downs and clients can be frustrating. The creation process and final result is great! I am burned out though so I am back in college for a complete career change.
