I would save a person first. I love animals, but the person would mean more to me. Also if I did not save the person over the animal...there could be legal issues to deal with later. A person generally lives longer too..so in logical thinking it would be a better investment to save the person. Animals are wonderful creatures and I would try to still save the animal after I tended to the person. Animals heal differently and can save themselves a bit more than humans can.

I find it bizzare that someone could even ask this question. Clearly human beings are more important than animals. Even if only we simply care more about our own species. But seriously, ie in a court of law you'd be convicted of murder for caring for an animal and allowing a person to die.

A person of course. Animals are put here for us to enjoy as pets. A human is put here to be our equal.....If the tables turned, I would want to be saved over an animal...You almost have to be an animal to think otherwise...

Would would have to say the person. I couldn't stand to see either die and I love animals, but I think the owner/family of the animal would understnad if I helped the person first.

Depends on who the person is. If he shot my dog after my dog bit him, I'd save my dog. If it's a stray, and it's my mom bleeding to death, I'd save my mom.

I would try and help them both. i would tend to the person, but also tend to the animal the best that I can. I cannot stand for anything to be in pain. I could never just neglect one or the other. I would do my best for both.
