Yahoo messanger doesn't send me messages sent to me when I am offline. When my son signs in (on the same computer) he gets the messages I sent him, but when he sends something to me, I don't recieve it. Yahoo Help isn't helpful.
Settings are the same for both of us.

That sounds like a yahoo problem. You might want to get an updated version of yahoo. Sometimes when one person has version 6.0 and the other has version 7.0, then when the 6.0 tries to send the person with 7.0 an offline message, then it doesnt work. Compatibility issues might be one reason, or maybe your yahoo is bugged that way.

Try going to http://messenger.yahoo.com and update to the current version. Ask the person that is sending you or who youre sending an offline to/from, if he or she is using the same version as you.

definite that's the certainty...the guy you sent the message might have disabled his offline message properties or may be each and every time he/she login into the messenger doesnt examine what the dwelling house windows are commencing off approximately and clicks pass ;-)

nothing can send messages to you when you are offline. if there is no connection to the net then there is no way for it to send them to you.
