Oh God, I was married to a Libra...you know how the scale goes up and down?? That's how he was. Two sided, two-faced, split personality, manic depressive, forked tongue, ran hot and cold, on and off, never really happy neither here nor there------UNSTABLE, in other words. But I believe it's the person, not the sign.

I'm a Libra and I'm sure I come across as "crazy" sometimes, but mainly because I really *do* see every side of an issue, so making a decision can be difficult. The scales don't just automatically balance - it's a constant adjusting act, so if you're expecting just constant evenness because they're a Libra, you need to change your expectations ;) Just when things get in balance, one side tips just a bit and we spend a lot of time trying to balance again.
That being said, I think that might be true of many people. It's not a trait reserved just for Libras; I know Virgos like that. So I think it's more likely the person rather than the sign. You will find people very true to their sign, just as you'll find people who are nothing like their "typical" sign (which is why they write horoscopes soooo generally - so that someone can say "well that's nothing like me," and the writer can say, "well, that's only one aspect of the sign".
It's the person ;)

Libras seek balance and fairness, that is why they are the "Scale"
However, they can either be those that seek balance in the world around them, or those that focus on fairness for themselves. I have known libras who tend to feel the world isn't fair and whine about it all the time, instead of focusing on how they can make the world a better place. But underneath, libras do tend to be very sensitive.

It is the person, I know from experience, I am a Libra and I am the same as everyone else, crazy at times (depending on what you term as "crazy"), but very normal and I do strive for balance!
Balance keeps sanity!

not all of them are the same. also, a person doesnt act the same way all of the time. I'm a libra, and yes, sometimes i do act crazy, but I'm all about fairness and equality. Every person is different

The 3 Libra's I've been close to have been batty as fruitcakes. On the other hand why where they my friends? I think it's person not sign.

I have been with my Fella who is a libra for 6 years and although he does drive me crazy, he himself is not crazy.

Did you all know Mahatma Gandhi was a Libra:October 2, 1869. and I dont think he was crazy.

We like balance in life, but we are an Air sign, our attitude changes like the wind. Suddenly like a tornado, and 5 minutes later calm like a breeze.

Sometimes I don't think they are so muched balanced but rather have a tendency to lean more one way than another. Kind of like manic/depressive. Either always happy and sweet or bitchy and whiny.
