I'm Scottish and seen as though we have absolutely no chance of even qualifying I would shake your hand and wish you well! And to the person above, dont judge us all by the minority. I bet if I were to drive around England with a Scotland flag sticking out my car that there would be a high chance of something like this happening to me. My father used to stay in England and when I was a kid, some of the English kids would be nasty to me for no other reason than I was Scottish. And this was obviously something their parents had drummed into them as they were too young to understand that they should not like us Scots!
Those who keep the Scotland/England hatred going need to get a grip - its not the 1600's anymore! No-one cares about it except the usual minority of racists who reside in EVERY country.

This sort of question only serves to continue the pathetic actions of so-called supporters. I'm no England supporter, no Scotland supporter. What happened this week was a disgrace and it wouldn't matter who was involved. There's no place in football for these actions. When not abroad, I live in the West of Scotland. My fiance's family are all Rangers fans. I'm an Irish Catholic who walks around in London Irish shirts. All I'll say is that the majority of my good friends are Rangers supporters. The reason being, we follow our teams passionately but know when to switch off. A lot of folk on all sides should heed that. Maybe then it would be safe for youngsters (i.e. 7 years old) to play in a park with whatever shirt he wanted to wear on his back. And then maybe idiots wouldn't jump on the bandwagon and want to take on a whole nation because of the stupidity of a minority.

Tractor Boy, Get a life, and read up some history and See who joined who in the 1700's The first King of Britain was Scottish or not English. Maybe just go back to your roots and find out if you are Italian, French, Viking, German, Irish, Dutch or all the other peoples who have settled here in the last 2000 years. Your ancestors would be turning in there graves.

triniwarrior24 - Not all Scots are like that only a minority, I saw this on a past somewhere "Young Scots bloke I used to work with was kicked to death in London. He wasn't even wearing football colours, just had the wrong accent."

Anyway do you see a fight break out when the 6 Nations is on when Scotland against England - no because it's football. Even when clubs (football) are playing each other they have to kept apart. An example is when my cous wore a Cardfiff football top to work (Swansea) the looks he had, I couldnt never go to Cardfiff and say I'm from Swansea

My Dad's family was from South London, but 400 years ago they came down from Scotland. My mother born in Canada to immigrants from Protestant Belfast. I was born in Canada, now live in Mexico.

My son has the proud blood of Aztec warriors, Spanish conquistadors, Mexican and Irish patriots, English Admirals and shades of Mel Gibson, even Robert the Bruce.

I really wish you "British" could see your petty racial squabblings from an "american" perspective.

As a Scottish football fan I ashamed of this behaviour. It is a sad fact that it only takes a couple of loonies to tar us all with the same brush.

The Scots are illegal immigrants and belong back over the border, and that means Tony Blair and his cronies.
