i will tell u what are the reasons of that and i will show u the way to get ride of it:
1-lack of sleep(as u said u sleep enough 8 hrs per day....dont sleep during a day....do some kind of sport in the evening...eat the light dinner with yaghourt....dont drink tea or cafe after 6 pm....eat some biscuits and warm milk before u go to bed...when u see u cant sleep leave ur bed ..read something then when u get sleepy again back to bed)...
2-smoking(its better if u decrease the number of cigarette u smoke)
3-nutrition(have to drink 7 glasses of water per day...2 piece of fruits including ur routine foods)
4-stress
5-glasses(better to use contact lense)
6- watching the monitor(every one hr let ur eyes rest for 5 mins)
7-rubbing ur eyes alot....make ur little vein broken(try to dont rub ur eyes alot and use warm pad on ur eyes at night if during the day u rubed them)
8-anemia(u have to ask ur G.P ab that and by blood test u can find that out),like when u dont have enough Iron ...u can use some ferrus sulfate tablets per night(but just wih ur G.P order
9- lack of Zinc(one tablet of Zn per night)
10-Genetic(here is no way just u can cover it by cosmetic brands)

Dear Teen- Ager-
First of all, relax. Failure to get enough solid rest can make your circles darker. Secondly, realize that dark circles are hereditary. There is nothing you can do to make them go away, but you can make them less dark by a) Get at least 8 hours of sleep a day. b) Always use sunscreen!! Always, always, always! c) Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day and avoid caffeinated beverages.

Doing these things will alleviate the darkness. To conceal the rest, buy a good concealer brush. Clinique makes a good one that is reasonably priced. You can try and buy a mass market concealer, like Cover Girl or Revlon, but it's often difficult to get a true shade from a drug store. At a department store cosmetic counter you'd have the opportunity to try on shades with the advice of an expert. Good Luck!! (SUNSCREEN!!)

OMG! I have the same problem as you. First let me tell you that dark circles would never get complety away I have supper dark circles and im olive skin my mom also says that my dark circles are genetic because my uncle has them. But You know I do love my dark circles is what makes me unique.. lol even though sometimes they look so much cuz i have them around my eyes and my eyes are small i use consealor to hide them.. But i also put sometimes cucumber or 2 slices of potatoes around my eyes and leave em for like 15 mins: it gets away the puffiness, I also know something that i just starting using it cuz my grandma told me and is almond oil.. i clean my face in the nights and after i washed my face i dab sweet almond oil all over my face concentrating on my dark circles doing little massages.. And i think it is kinda working lol.. but you should learn to love your black circles and if you dont like them just use consealor and makeup and tada!! lol HOPE I helped!

Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep, good nutrition, and plenty of water.

Yes. First of all, most dark circles are caused by the appearance of veins beneath the thin skin under our eyes. As we age and our skin becomes more damaged due to sun exposure, the skin under our eyes becomes thinner and more wrinkled, which allows the veins in this fatty padded area under the eye to appear more prominent. These veins also become more swollen and obvious in people with allergies. Similarly, people with a history of eczema, hay fever or asthma often develop dark circles. They do, of course, become more apparent with a lack of sleep. In some people with dark skin, circles under the eye may actually be due to superficial pigmentation of the skin and not the underlying veins.
Common sense measures such as getting plenty of sleep and treating allergies can often help. Short-term tricks of the trade include applying cool cucumber slices or cool tea bags to the under-eye area, which helps to reduce swelling. Cosmetic concealers and foundation can also work wonders for tired looking eye circles. Choose a gold-based colour that matches your skin shade exactly (the gold will counteract the blueness of the under-eye circle). The most common mistake women make when applying concealer is choosing a colour that's too light - which only achieves a 'reverse raccoon' effect. Another common mistake is putting the concealer only under the eye. You should apply it all around the eye area and blend it in well. After applying, set the concealer with a light dusting of translucent face powder so that it stays put. To avoid drawing attention to your under-eye area, don't apply eyeliner or mascara to your lower lashes.

Often, the inner corner of your eye is the darkest part, so a white shimmer pencil will cover it. Some companies manufacture a blueish or white pencil just for this purpose.

I have the same problem. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get they don't go away. You can try a cream for under eye circles. Try the clinique one, the more you pay the better it gets. Also get hold of some concealer like Touch Eclat, that really helps to conceal them.

Stress and lack of sleep will cause dark circles. Start getting enough sleep and try to not let stress get to you too badly. (I know, I know...being a teen is nothing BUT stressful.) Until you can get them to subside, try some cosmetics to hide them if you're allowed to wear make up. There are special cosmetics just for that problem and they're easily found in the make up aisle.

Drink plenty of water, get at least 8 hours of sleep and try a good under-eye concealer. It could very well be hereditary.
