Sounds like the issue is deeper than lingerie. Women buy lingerie to pamper themselves and because its sexy. Lingerie is made to enhances our natural FEMININE assets which entices men even more.
Seeing a man in womens lingerie is NOT attractive. You men have some nice items out there that enhances your own natural MASCULINE assets and believe me it gets us womens attention.
To see you in OUR Lingerie is not attractive. More of a turn off not a turn on.

Simply because it IS their lingerie! If perhaps the man were to buy his own, then he should feel free to prance around. The only problem now lies with whether you significant other finds that behavior acceptable.
If you can afford it, buy it! And if it makes you feel good wear it!
