I'm wanting to use one to strip the paint and rust off of an old truck.

Whoa, you may want to hold up on that one. Homeowners' sandblaster will take you FOREVER, but the big deal is, you will have sand in EVERYTHING!

You'll have to tear down the front suspensions and rebuild it, the universals, and forget about the motor.

Get this done professionally - it doesn't cost that much, and ask about walnut shells instead of sand. Seriously.

make sure you do it in a garage and nothing around that can brake, dont point it at the windows or anyone including your self. It will be a messy job and you will have to clean up if you do use sand but they also sell plastic pellets that will do the work as well. In any case if you are planin to do alot of body work sandblast but if not just sand with sand paper and use bondo. Sandblasting is a lot of work and the wheels, trim, and anything that can either get scratched or on the way must come off the truck to do a good job other wise you are better off just using bondo.
