We will never know.

Because not too many of us know who we really are yet, and we are trying to fit in where we don't belong.. We are also still very immature and feel better making other people miserable. It's not right it"s just the way it is. Be yourself. It works out later. I was miserable in High school. Once I hit 20 though things really came into focus and I am such a happy person now.

Actually, I love high school. Life got soo good when I got there. Lots of guys... friends... I made a lot of new friends and got closer to a few of my old ones. I can't wait until next school year starts up to see old friends and new faces.

Make sure you're open to people, talk, don't be shy and distant.. and if you can't help that then find a person who maybe is the same way. I'm not really a shy person and I guess I'm sorta popular, not to be conceited or anything but a lot of people know me. It doesn't take much if you have a good sense of humor and a love for people. :p

It depends.

If you are referring to the torture of annoying classmates, then the answer would be that high school is full of idiots that think they are smart.

If you are referring to the torture of sitting in a classroom all day listening to teachers, then the answer would be that high school is full of wise teachers that students think are idiots.

high school is gravy. The only torture is ur social life & trying to fit in.... now that part may be hard at that age. The thing that u have to understand is, is that life isnt about 'fitting in'. Be yourself, enjoy your own likes..... who gives a $hit about trying to be like everyone else. U r unique, show it.

Ha, you think that's a torture, enter the working world of layoffs, downsizing, bills, mortgages, credit card bills, rising interest rates, health problems, having kids, etc.

High School isn't so bad, there are much worse things in life.

because alot of teenagers are going through a major psychological evolution at this point. they are beginning to "learn themselves"...and to make it even worse, some kids got the jump start, and these kids usually are the "coolest" of their group, wether it be the drama kids, the rich kids, the pot heads, the skaters, the preps, the groupie girls...at this age kids just wanna fit in, nobody wants to be lonely, and well, lets just say this age hormones and testosterone are running VERY high...sex is bieng introduced, drugs, and life in general really...its a very strange experience, but alas, it does come to an end

I know that it seems awful at the time- it was awful for me too. Just find a few things that make you happy and try to forget about everything else. Life after high school is much better:) Just look forward to the future:)

Highschool is both the best and the worst time of your life. It's hard, because people around you begin to change, not everyone will stay that sweet little kid you meant in kindergarden. It is when you really begin to find out who your real friends our. And in the end it prepares you for the big wide world.
