Religion is just rules. It's ok for building a firm foundation, but many people get stuck in the foundation so long that it dries and cracks. If they never go on to build their spiritual house, they will have nothing to protect them during the coming storm.

Christianity and spirituality is about peace and love. Don't confuse Christianity with religion.

Nobody kills because of Peace and Love. Unfortunately, anyone can SAY that they believe but in their hearts it may be a different story.

For example, if I were to say that I believe that we should protect the environment and then go out and burn down every tree that I find my actions would give away my true beliefs.

The same is true among religion. I can call myself a believer but that doesn't make it true.

Well that depends on who you think are leading the wars. The soldiers are innocent. It is those whomislead people so as the leader may gain at their expenses. Religion has always been a good reason. People have faith and don't ask for proof

do not blame any religion ,for the wickedness of man

Terrorists hide behind religion to do what is in their minds

man selects & mis-enterprets parts of religion to their own ends

The cause of war, murder etc is greed, envy & hate .

LOVE is from God

peace & harmony is the by product of love

This would be an endless and also pointless war you are suggesting there.

The world is divided by religion. Religion divides man, and I was only a teenager when I figured that out. Many people come up to me and ask me about God and they ask me about my beliefs and faith, and I tell them I believe in one thing and one thing only, love. Love exceeds all the other emotions and yet it forces us to weep, to build, and to shape our ideas of what it is like on the other side of the moon. Love is an emotion, which unquestionably exposes a great deal of positive energy, and that energy is clearly used to construct varies art forms. It is such a cliché to say that love is the center of everything, but it is true. Love has given birth to many great things, save for the path of darkness. I have watched people kill themselves over faith, and indeed to have the faith of a mustard seed is just as obtainable as the Holy Grail.

I have always believed that one’s faith should be exposed at very imperative moments, and unless he or she is willing to conform to the world, convictions, beliefs, and ideas should be kept to one’s self. I cannot honestly say that I know everything about human nature. I have observed the cruelty in human beings, and the very methods they use to conduct such harsh and terrifying actions. I fear each and everyday. There are times when I’m totally unaware of what I fear; yet I still fear. Anxiety has controlled my life, and no the Devil is not responsible for the anxiety and I don’t pray over my mail. I fear for the Earth and all her creatures, I fear for the trees and Global Warming, I fear for the children of Africa and I fear for all living things. Why?

Religion is more than peace and love. There are so many reasons that people kill, but most of them boil down to...you don't believe as I do, therefore you must be evil. If you are evil, you must die. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

Although religions are what people aim to seek nearer to God, there are some deceptions though about some of their teachings and the extremists are really making their own religion look extremely bad.

To answer your question, these warring people in the name of their various religions are misguided zealots.
To answer the first response to your question: Jesus Christ said it was about peace and love.
