I cannot say if there is an easy method. There are some that take less willpower than others. I guess that would be easier. Other answers will probably tell you that. Also search Yahoo!Answers under smoking and you will get plenty of other advice as this question gets asked about once a week or more.

From me, I would suggest you change your eating habits to those that address the reason your body demands that you smoke, which may be a blood sugar imbalance. Seriously! Some of the reading I have done due to my diabetes suggests that the body gets addicted to substances to survive a chronic low blood sugar condition.

You may want to check out www.hufa.org to see some basic information on blood sugar imbalances both high and low.

You buy one pack of cigarettes, thats, it. You tell yourself, "This is the last pack I ever smoke". And you make the pack last as long as possible. Smoke those final cigarettes, ONLY when you REALLY need them. By the time I got to the end of the pack, I didnt even want the last few. I quit smoking about 2 1/2 years ago, just like that. Now, I can even have an occasional smoke, and Im fine. You just have to be strong.

Get the middle ring from a cheap pen and attach it to a long pin. Stick the pin down in the joint and have the ring encased around the blunt like it's a cigarette holder. As you take a drag on your joint, the ring will heat up and burn your lip so bad that you won't be able to smoke any longer. Of course, you won't be able to eat or smooch either, but that's a small price to pay to kick the habit. Or, you could mix Exlax with your brownies, so that every time you eat a pot brownie, you'll crap your pants. So, it's a little embarrassing. So what?

I'm gonna be honest...no easy way. Nicotine patches and gum are widely used, but you can't just stop like that. Perhaps you should start by reducing how many times you smoke in a day,or week. And keep on reducing it every so often. Nicotine will help you with your cravings but you need to try and find a way to not become reliant on them. Consult your doctor as well.

Best of luck :-)

I stopped this past February. I had the Motivation from a Radiologist. He was to do a surgical procedure on me and had to go into a artery. He said it was so clogged he could barely get a tube into the artery to do what he had to do. I ask him how can I get rid of the clog and he said (1) Stop Smoking, (2) exercise more and (3) stay away from fatty foods. That was motivation enough for me to quit......COLD TURKEY.

I'll say it takes Will Power and Motivation.

There is no easy way. But cold turkey is the way that works best. Just make sure you take a few days off work, until the worst of the withdrawal symptoms are over.

There is no "easy" way to quit smoking. But there are things there to help you control your cravings for a ciggerette. It usually depends on how much you smoke.

Seriously,

You got to know why you are stopping Smoking, is it really want you want?

If so, find something to substitute smoking, when want to smoke, do the substitute non-additive action, like chew gum.

Meds, ,,, unless provided by a Medical Professional.

You got to address why you want it.
