This phrase has been poll tested.
In fact the funniest thing about it is it had to be kept three words and under.
As you may remember before the war
White House chief of staff Andrew Card or Rove told The New York Times ``From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August.''
These are buisness people, they are marketing to the less intellectualy disearning. In my opinion only i have always believed that corpratist want a less educated popultaion because they make better consumers.
The war is a prouduct they must sell.
If they repeat the slogan long enough the need for real issue debate ends.
The debate is simple...logically we must pull our troops out one day....in the future....it has to happen.
otherwise the debate the Republican Party is running is simple.
Never leave Iraq [r] vs. We have to leave sometime [d].

Well, how else would you describe what the libs want to do?
I think "cut and run" is a pretty good description of quitting before a job is finished and running home out of fear. Leaving the people we are supposed to be helping swinging in the breeze and at the murcy of terrorists and religeous extremists.
Even if you've been against Bush and the war from the start, There's no good way to pull out now. Only bad things could happen. Any intellectually honest person with intestinal fortitude would have to look at Iraq and say the only way to honorably leave is to dig in, get to work, and, yes, "stay the course" until the job is done.

I sure hope not, but knowing them.......in fact I've already had those phrases quoted to me on here........Chicken Little is credited for popularizing the phrase the "Sky is Falling" and "cut and run" sounds like something from the show C.H.I.P.S. I wonder if indeed the sky will not fall on these people, or if there isnt something we can do to help it.

Yes, and Americans aren't buying it. I think they're finally seeing what a sham the Bush administration is.
They want real leadership that speaks for America and to America. They don't want stupid sound bites.

Maybe it's the new "Bush lied, people died."
If you want a clear case of the results of cut and run, look at what Somalia became after Clinton bailed out. Waring tribal factions, disorder, mayhem, slayings........

I am so tired of these vogue buzz words or terms. I never want to hear the word, "empower" again.
I'm also tired of these silly and childish terms used to describe our military's missions. I'm waiting for "operation get Bin Laden and his dialysis machine".
