some girls talk more than boys because they are "wired" to process things in more detail. It's the process of talking wherewith the girls work things out. Also nervousness creates more talking. whereby boys may get more quiet. Boys sometimes just get to the point faster...for example, a guy can purchase a pair of pants much faster than a girl. she will stress over if they a cute, if it makes her look fat, do other girls have them, and on and on and on!

Men bond by physical proximity. They talk to communicate information.
Girls talk to share feelings.
