im 16 and i live in england, im only ever allowed to talk to my friends online i spend 12 hrs + on my pc a day, im always forced to revise constantly, im only allowed out once a week or i get in trouble, my dad says he will kick me out if i dont do as he says and since im 16 hes allowed to do that, im afraid he will, up to the age of 11 he wld sometimes hit me he hasnt since bt im always afraid hes going to do it again.....i have no where to go..no family who will take me beacuse they all live so far away, what do i do?

Your Dad seems overly protective, and that's a shame. I can understand his point, but keeping you closed off will not help you in the future. As far as the abuse, that is totally uncalled for. Don't you have a teacher or counselor that you could talk to?? They have abuse lines if you are really that scared. I wish you the best and wished I had more answers for you.

Thats so sad, ur parents seem very protective over you, do u have ne brothers and sisters by ne chance? if so, u shud turn to them for some support - and at the end of the day, this is a very important time to study, im sure they dont make u study in the summer holz do they?!
When u say "hit", what exactly do u mean? if its just something to discipline u with, thats nothing to complain much abt, bt if he is abusing u more than he should, u really need to take some action...try calling that child line for some more advice if its gotten to u too badly.
Just hang in there for another few months and think clearly b4 u do ne thing rash...because once u do something, u wont be able to change that back - have a clear mind and understand the consequences of ur actions. good luck and take care.

Well as your parent he really has the right to lay down the law. Some parents can be more strict than others...it's only a couple years, and you'll be free to be out in the world on your own.
Now if your dad is physically abusive ...or you fear him, you may want to contact someone with social services/a family member you feel close to that you can rely on & trust. There is no need to live in fear, and even as a parent, he has NO right to physically harm you in any way.

if u really take me as a friend take my word it is 4 your own good what your dad is doing. prove 2 him that u can be someone one day. i have not seen u but something in me tells that u can achieve your goal in future

tolerate you will be ok soon you will be an adult and work on getting into a college once there you can do whatever you want
