They weigh the same. A kilogram is a kilogram. However:
If you had asked: Which weighs more an ounce of feathers or an ounce of gold, then the answer would have been gold.
Reason: feathers are measured in avoirdupois weight (A system of weights based on the 16-ounce pound (or 7,000 grains or an ounce of 437.5)
And gold is measured in troy weight (A system of weights used for precious metals and gemstones; based on a 12-ounce pound and an ounce of 480 grains.)

It depends on where they are located. A kilogram is a measurement of mass, not weight. If the feathers were on Jupiter, and the sand was here, the feathers would weigh more.

neither weighs more than the other because any way you put it 100kgs is a 100kg, so when you weigh them they are still going to weigh the same thing good question though
