No. Prohabition feeds organized crime. If somepeople want to be fools, tax it and regulate it; make it a first degree felony to knowingly sell that crap to a kid. This will open up our resources for more productive law enforcement; it will help us intervine on more Serious crimes, and take a big bite out of crime by virtually killing the black market for such Substances .

Yes, getting drunk ( which causes fatalities 100% more than weed--which never killed one person) and cigarettes--the most addictive and dangerous drug there is, should be legal.
Smoking pot is wrong because it takes your motivation away and alters your mind?? Cocaine should not be on the same level as heroin because you go through withdrawal with heroin. People unfortunately become extremely addicted to things--that are legal--like pills that act like heroin and speed!! I don't think it solves anything by demonizing only a handful of narcotics and creating a HUGH, MISERABLE, FAILED DRUG WAR. It has caused many more problems than the drugs themselves. In return it has created a jail industry, a police state, destroyed lives, but created many government jobs and kept the unemployment rate "low"--but not really, I don't know. I suppose it does some good for society, I just can't see what right now--maybe it keeps too many junkies from hanging out in public parks?.

Either pot and booze should both be illegal or legal. It's insane to fight a 'war on drugs' when one of the most damaging one is still legal.

Legalize it all. Income through tax would be enough to get all kids proper schooling.
OK.. and half of that money would need to be used to clean up the mess it will create but hey, traffic is cause of death number one and I don't hear anyone complaining about that except when oil-prices go up.

because of the fact if marijuana advance into criminal, the government does not be waiting to suitable tax it. because of the fact pot is everywhere. As for LSD, I dont think of anybody must be allowed to take LSD. some people might freak the hell out. Mushrooms, are not as stable. i ought to confirm how those may be criminal. And methadone enables people get off heroin. it is not Anybodies fault for it being abused, different than for the abuser.

Been there done that and it did not work. Called Prohibition. People who drink would find a way just like the druggies do now.

Alcohol is a drug like any other. Why not legalize all drugs?
