I just started the pill and everytime I take it (5 days) I feel like I have to throw up. Should it be this way? Will that go away, I feel really bad.

I am not pregnant before they gave me the pill they gave me a pregnancy test and I had my period first. Did anyone feel like they had to throw up when you first started with it and how long ahould this persist.

I just want to say that D.J's answer about birth defects is not true, it say's so in the packet and the only thing in the pill is hormones, no bad chemicals or anything. And it's completely normal to feel a little sick, again it says in the instruction packet. i felt a little sick when i first started taking mine, but it went away after a week or two.

No you shouldnt feel like you have to throw-up everytime you take the pill. I hope that you are not pregnant? Some people take the pill for different reasons..... If you may be pregnant-please stop taking the pill it could cause birth defects. Sometimes it takes a few days for your body to adjust to the "pill" and sometimes people just cant take the pill because of the side effects.

No, I would not think so. You should tell your doctor. They will probably change them. I was on the pill for 10 years with trying 3 different brands in that time. I never felt like I was going to throw up with any of them. Some caused headaches and weight gain (well that is what I blamed it on) but that is all the side effects that I got from them.

it should go away in a month or so if it does not you will have to call your dr and see if you can switch to another brand of pill. just make sure you take the pill at the same time everyday.....

ask your doctor about a lower dose pill. a lot of times the high levels of hormones cause the upset stomache.
