First make sure the wax is hot enough, not burning hot , but hot enough to stick to the hair... then once its on the hair, place the hair removal strip on and make sure to run your hands up and down the strip a few times to ensure that the strip is on good...and that all your hairs are sticking to the strip, then pull opposite the direction of the hair growth. Make sure to pull the strip hard and fast so that all you hair comes out. Also, when ever I go to get waxed, the ladies there always put some powder on my skin to prevent me from having my skin (first layer of skin)pulled out with the hair.

Finally if that doesn't work, I recommend going to get it professionally done, or sticking to shaving...and if that doesn't work, then I recommend Nair cream for hair removal.

Waxing strips are good for hair on the face or hair that is soft. Leg hair, underarm, and other such areas are more difficult. Try a at home wax that needs to be heated. Always pull the strips in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

Well the thing about waxing is you have to find the brand that works best for you. I tryed several different brands before I found one that actually worked for me. Sally Hansen Ex-Strength All-Over Body Wax is the one I found to work for me. I have dark course hair and that is the only one that has really worked. So once you find the right one for you then you have to make sure that you are putting the wax on in the same direction as the hair and then pulling the strip in the op. direction. Hope this can help you.

I don't recommend home products but if you insist on using them, buy a brazilian hard waxl....most people purchase this for bikini areas, but it works and is no mess if done correctly.....also purchase some witch hazel, and some neosporin, and baby powder for sensitive skin......Okay first....cleanse your face....pat dry, then with a cotton ball, apply witch hazel to help calm your skin, then to you area you are waxing apply dabs of baby powder to buffer the pain a little (not too much powder....just enough to cover the area....Then with a tongue depressor, pop sickle stick etc.....after heating the wax...smooth it in the direction of the hair growth....(with brazilian wax there are no strips....), then touch the wax to make sure it's not sticky and if it doens't stick to your fingers then lift up a small corner of the wax (this will hurt a little) Then pull the skin around the area your waxing taut and pull off very quickly in the opposite direction that you applied it...Then smooth your finger over the waxed area to help calm and then apply more witch hazel over that area, and that will help take the redness away.....If You see a pore have a little bit of blood, that's normal and means that, that hair will not grow back from that follicle again.....Do not apply make up right after, that can clog pores and break you out....also you can use aloe vera, after the witch hazel....and before bed you can apply neosporin to give yourself the extra gurantee of healing...

hairs need to be kinda long or wax wont be able to grip the hairs. make sure skin is clean rub a small amount of talc over area. heat up wax (cold wax stuff is rubbish dont use) check temp of wax on inner wrist if ok apply to area following way hairs grow. apply strip and press down so strip is stuck to wax and hairs. hold skin at bottom of strip taught and pull off strip in direction of hair growth. dont go over area more than twice and if have bad reaction to wax apply soothing lotion. dont shower, bathe, apply moisturiser, use sunbed etc for 24 hours after

I totally agree with the hairdresser on Brazillian wax without strips. I have found it at Wal-mart in the past, but haven't been able to find it lately. I usually wait until my husband and kids are gone, have a glass of wine (or 2) to dull the pain and follow with a product called "Bikini Zone".

Exfoliate the skin in the area you are going to wax and ensure that the hair is a suitable length so that the wax can stick to it, they usually recommend 4mm, but depends what area you are doing.

make sure u dont have any oils on the skin eg. moisturiser!!hairs will not be removed effeciently if the skin is slight damp or oils have been applied, to ensure dryness you can apply talc to the area and make sure the skin is completly dry.. applywax with hair growth remove against... NOTE-- if the hairs are too short they will not be removed sucessfully!!! HAPPY WAXING
