Better be wise by the misfortunes of others than by your own.

And my grammar might be over whelming although
i never went to harvard or got a phd.
But you stand in good judgement of my error with out walking a mile in my shoes.
I have got a good reason why at times i am not up to par and sure not talking straight when i
may be high or little drunk.
But that is not the case every morning .For what happens to people when they sleep, there body mode goes into sleep a normal person can stumble out of bed and in some cases hit the ground a running, but you know what happens is the oxgen level in peoples bodies drop to a low level that means less oxgen to the brain to enable a body to sleep, what happens if someone uses oxgen then they must have trouble breathing with even less oxgen than normal when they wake up.

So what i am trying to say i know i might have only two brain cells but only one functions of the morning but it is busy trying to wake the other cell.Thats my excuse whats yours. well ending in good humor thanxs for your imput.

It's interesting to note that they are always pushing thier outdated bronze-age morality on everyone else, yet are totally incapable of living by those same rules.
They are the perfect example of "do as I say, not as I do".
Nothing by hypocrites.

Whoa, dude, the grammar police must be asleep.
From the mess above, I gather that you are a bit upset when someone talks religion to you. Seems you don't like that.
Me neither, kiddo.
I think that religion is a very personal matter that should be discussed only within one's intimate circle.
However, I would not single out Christians for being boorish. God knows the "Convert or Die" Islamicists have been known to push a tract or two in their time. And the Mormons? Well, they can be pretty in-your-front-door, too. Hari Krishnas pretend to be otherwise, but three minutes in their company will win you a testimonial on the benefits of attaining Krishan Consciousness.
All religions teach that they are the best religion. Some (like Islam and Christianity) teach that they are the Only true religion.
Being a part of the best and only, the adherents of these religions honestly believe they are doing good, holy work, by trying to convert people.
On the other hand, some folks just get off on being PITAs (Pains In The A ss ).
A group of so-called Christians took over a corner outside my office a couple of years ago, with a megaphone and a message of hate and damnation for the world. The police had to come and the self-appointed Saviors of Our Town broke out their video cameras to catch the "police suppression of their religious freedom."
All that happened was the cop took the batteries out of their megaphone (by which they were annoying the office workers and shop keepers nearby). They soon grew bored with shouting their message (and hoarse) and went home.
But this is not something to pin on Christians, per se. Rather, pin it on people who confuse a desire for power and domination with piety.
The false-pious are the real danger.

Because they think they are saving people by pushing their religion.
Muslims also think the same.
Both Christians and Muslims churches make more money by having more followers so it is a corporate action to convert more people. Money and power and big business with them.
Bhuddhists are not since Buddhism is based on your own self discovery and only belong to oneself. There is no central church for Buddhism also pushing people to convert more Buddhists for them for their church.

They're not all pushy. Some people are pushy...some aren't. Since some people are Christian, there's bound to be pushy Christians...or pushy bus drivers...or pushy Hummel collectors...etc.

The feeling of irritation you (or others) may get from an encounter with a pushy person is your own doing...not theirs. (e.g. You can't offend ME...only I can let myself be offended.)

I belong to an independent evangelical church, but I don't exactly push myself on others. I talk about my faith, but when I see people's eyes glaze over and lose interest, I back off. There's no point in aggravating someone to the point where they become unwilling to listen to you in the future.

maybe their just following their Lord's example. Jesus went preaching to the ppl and commended his followers to do so as well.

i have nothing against ppl to come over and talk to me about God by their own initiative but I expect them to leave if i tell them to leave.

so wipe ur dust off ur shoes and move on.

There is an arrogance that since they are the one true religion, and everyone else is going to hell, it is their moral obligation to save you from the fires of hell, even though we all have the same God.

I agree with you , I think they are pushy because they feel that their mission is to save people. I believe that relationship whit God is very personal and need to be respected
