1.) I believe that laws and rules are meant for our safety and with a proper understanding of them I can use them to my advantage.

2.) I considor many rules and laws as a hinderance to progress and productivity. I am more interested in whats real and practical than what looks good on paper.

So which one are you? a 1 or a 2?

I'll opt for 2, and that's a NICE way to put it.

Sorry!! but as in most things in life...there is a third option that I subscribe to.

# 3 ...Most laws are enacted to protect the self interests of the most monied amongst us. Look around you and you will see that if there are laws and rules and regulations in place, they for the most part benifit either the one with the most money or the government that is the controlling interest.

Look at traffic laws...sure, there are those laws that determine safety considerations...such as stop signs, traffic lights, etc.
But look what they did with seat belts and cell phone usage. I believe that everytime you see a local government falling short on their budget...they enact a law with fines...just for the revenue.

1) I belive that the laws and rules are not always meant for my safety but with a proper understanding of them I can sometimes use them to my advantage.
