Is the building blocks of matter physical, reducible to something of substance? In what sense does something exist if it lacks substance? This already is very intriging, but even more so is the question if the existance of matter/ objective physical reality, can be proofed to exist independantly of conscious experience. All I can say is that I do or do not belief that physical reality exist independant of my or any other conscious beings experience. This isn,t science, which is empirical. The conscious experience of substance/ objective physical reality is a continual event. Substance exist as a construct of consciousness. The idea is real, but is this construct of reality the same as reality? How can we proof it? Is it possible to say that what scientist (or the rest of us) are doing is to investigate objective reality, or merely the experience of a reality that they belief to be real and objective? What is the nature of the physical? Is it real or is it mental? (Plato vs Aristotle)

Object permanence is a stage of development that we two legged go through in life. Does the physical world still exist outside the fields of human consciousness?

Most of us believe that it does in fact exist and that is one form of truth being what the majority of people believe.

Humanity understands that our physical world exists as matter only 25 % of the time and 25% of the time it manifests as a wave of pure energy and so 50 % of the time a state of nothingness exists. Our physical world constantly shifts into and out of being.

Also, we know that most of what we perceive as matter or physical presence is merely empty space.

You asked what is the nature of the physical?

Any answer will by necessity be a subjective one as different cultures perceive the realities of the physical world differently.

For myself and my culture there cannot be a total separation of spirit, mind, matter and emotion. These elements of life exist in balance with each other always going out of existence and coming back into being. ~ Rudy

Inorder to understand this requires a limited understanding of Quantum and String Theory Physics. Science and Spirituality are coming together. I am going to take the premise that we are Spiritual Beings having an Earthly Experience. At the beginning of the Adamic Race our DNA was changed and blended with another source of DNA. One of the recent discoveries by Science is that the DNA produces Photons and this affects the cells of the Human body, Science now believes this what creates a Worm Hole effect around the Human Body that allows us to penetrate other dimensions in Alpha State of Being. The original teaching that was brought to Earth stated that there is a Creator who acts through Law to bring Creation into Being. This Law in Humans or other thinking beings in the Universe utilize this law continuously. It is activated by thought. Whereever thought goes energy follows and Energy is thought. The quality of our thoughts is called Consciousness-Lower or Higher. Matter is a type of vibration of light. We have Dark matter uncreated and White Light Matter created. Scientist are leaning towards the idea that the Dark matter in the Universe is what the Ancients referred to as Aethers! At its most basic form, a human is dense material. Yet with Kirellian photography we can see the less dense body of the aura or Etheric body. The human is made up of more than one body, each less dense than the physical body. Most of the Teaching that came into Greece was brought there by Thales who brought it over from Egypt. Egypt it received it from Sumeria and the Annunaki, those from Heaven come to Earth. All physical manifestation is the result of visulaization or thought within the Human Mind !

The mind is the emergent property of the neural network of the brain. And we are deterministic and materialistic. The computation may not be FEASIBLE, but it is computable. Yes, this lacks in the ability to describe the exact principles involved in this emergent property. Sadly, emergent behaviors are based on simple rules but the behavior of those rules can be mind-numbingly complex -- for example, take a look at the mandelbrot set. The mandelbrot set boils down to two simple functions, a complex addition and a complex squaring. (a+bi) + (c+di), and (a+bi) ^ 2, where c+di is some given constant and a+bi is where the current state is in. These two simple rules create the only known set that are fractal dimension 2, the largest fractal dimension a flat set can have.

You've painted yourself into a corner by thinking it has to be one or the other. It could easily be both. What makes you think that one has to be a product of the other in the first place? Why can't consciousness be matter and matter consciousness? We are made of the same stuff as stars. We are therefore, quite literally, the universe awakening!

Let's say that if your own matter hasn't consciousness you wouldn't be able to do this question! Matter never could be a property of consciousness because that is a property of imagination...i mean...virtual matter is, not, real matter!

Everything that there is, is a manifestation of consciousness. This is the truth that philosophers have struck and now sub-atomic physicists are trying to 'prove' it through their findings.

can sight exist without eyes ?
hearing without ears ?

consciousness dies with the body, as does the soul. I'd like it to be otherwise, but i don't want to lie to myself.
so enjoy life when you're here,co's if there's another place we go to after this, then the doors must be pretty secure.
