I used to draw alot. Draw goofy pictures of whoever they have supervising detention, then (secretly) hold it up and let the other detainees see it. If you're any good at all, it'll be good for a few laughs.

it all depends on what kind of student u r and what classes u take in school and the severity of the offense. one thing u can try is to go to the principal and kiss but and accept that what u did was wrong and u except the punishment that u will receive it may earn u brownie points. the next is to con a teacher in to giving u a shot at some extra credit and plan on doing it the day u have dentition, and convince the principal that u will need access to the library for research, when asked for " how much time do u need to get the material " tell them " I don't know, as much time as i can have so i can get a good grade, i really need the extra credit. " well now's the bad part, u need to to some work, if u want out of the detention room and into the library for the day u actually have to do the extra credit. bring paper, pens, pencils, and start writing. have books scatted all over the table open to the subject u r doing and stay busy. i got my history teacher to give me the extra credit and it worked like a charm. i spent a total if 10 Minn. in the dentition room. if it doesn't work for u or u don't want to try, be ready to be Bord out of your mind. P.S. i got an A+ and got brownie points for the next year with a lot of teachers. word got out and, i was able to do a lot of extra credit the next year.

Detention is based on the assumption that youngsters prefer their leisure time activities to studying, which is true in the vast majority of cases. So, detention should be spent in doing some sort of studies, either bookwork or written work. Detentions should ideally be supervised for this reason and when I order detentions I sacrifice my own free time to do so.

However when I was at school I was a poor student and when doing detention I would spend my time doing simple geometrical constructions which I enjoyed doing over and over again.

I bitterly regret the time I wasted at shool. Don't be like me. Think of your future and always try to do something useful, in detention, or otherwise.
