Do you think enough is being done to reduce our dependency on oil?

Not really. Big business is in oil. It may be the most cost effective but its also very old technology that really hasn't changed in almost a 100 years.

Wind farms and solar panels are the way forward. But governments have alot of money invested in oil and its by-products, so they don't invest enough in other types. In saying that, our government has given great tax breaks to people fitting solar, but they haven't insisted on it for new builds, which they should. The company a
Airtricity are doing interesting things now too. Wave power seems to be the hardest energy source to harness, and the most powerful. We don't need oil or gas. But the world economy, Bush etc does.

No, everything should have been done a long time ago.

Except the pro-oil lobbyists dismantled efforts to create electric cars over 80 years ago.
