Do little research over Internet on the brands, models and features of mobile phones. Almost all mobile phone companies (Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, etc....) have their websites giving details on the models available in Indian Market and MRPs. Decide on the model and go the market seeking that very model itself straight away asking the deal price. Negotiate price and accessories and attachments. All "non" priority dealers, stockists and distributors do give very good offers in competition, far better prices than MRPs, with all the relevant warranty and accessories across the counter. Pick one which is the best deal.
Avoid buying second hand mobiles.
