Yes, because we are intelligent life as well. They aren't stupid to come here, just curious. And wartorn countries don't exactly imply unintelligence.

Well, maybe they're intelligent enough to know that humans are hellbent on self-destruction and that they'd better arrive soon to help us out of trouble.
On the other hand, maybe they're sadists who enjoy watching the way we screw up our home (the planet). Maybe we're the "dumb blondes" of the universe and everyone else is laughing their fool heads off at our antics.

earth is like a shining marble. it makes a good stop 4 the tour of tourists and scientists to study the many species encountered here.
