It's called sensory adaptation. Carry gum or breath mints with you. It helps.

Because you are smelling it already thru your nasal passage and have become acustom to it. You need to dig in thoes peridontal pockets and get out the gunk and floss and brush. So much comes from inpacted food and not flossing!

I work in with the public,very closely.
I make sure I always have mints or gum,i use one or the other through out the day.

There are also some medical problems associated with this and it could be sinus problems or other things. Please talk to a Dr about it and if you have someone you can trust to be frank, ask them. Also, brush tongue and gargle with salt water to help.

try this... lick your inside of your wrist.let it dry then smell it .that way you will know if you have bad breath or not.
