It's a a Crt Color Monitor series FS7600. The power is on put no picture.

It deffently sounds like something went bad inside of the monitor. CRT are never really cost effective to fix, even if it is a cheap part the labor will always cost alot, some of the replacement parts can actually cost more then what you origionally paid for the monitor.

If the monitor has indicator lights on it, the light should be green if it is getting a signal from the tower. If it is yellow, check the plug / connections at both ends. Is the monitor plugged into the wall !

The fly back capacitor has failed. It can be repaired, the part is not very expensive (about $20 to $50) but the labor will be at least double that. It is probably cheaper to replace monitor.

check your connection to the cpun and you can try to open the win by safe mode and decreass from the resluotion
