Your wall is wobbling??? Not good. Sounds very unstable. What exactly is a wash house? How big is it? If it is not real big it might be worth a shot bricking up the window. Also if it is not real big might be worth tearing it down and building a new one out of block.

Sometimes by pointing up loose mortar joints you can stabilize surrounding bricks as it tightens everything up, but if you have a structural problem it might need more than that. The window should not really be a structural element, so I doubt if bricking it up will solve the problem, it might only move it to someplace else. You ought to be able to take the window out completely and still have a stable wall; there might be some other problem. If there is an interior wood framing there might be nothing to tie the brickwork to the studs and this might be more of a problem than the window. Maybe there is just a whole lot of loose mortar everywhere. I would start fixing that first and see what happens.

decide if the brick work can be re pointed, if so grind out then re point adding new brick for the window recess.the window it self will not secure by just adding brick If not then take away the brick remove the old mortar then re build adding new brick to replace old, take your time and gain the pleasure of doing it your self , its a lot cheaper

If your wall is wobbling it could be because of other reasons and not because of the ill-fitted window. Have some expert look at it because it might be dangerous if not attend to at once. You may have to tear down the whole wall so be prepared.

.no if the wall is unstable you will have to demolish the building if only for the safety of any children that go near it .you would not want any harm to come to anyone
