I have bought a domain name, but i dont know how to link that to my webserver ip address...pls help me....

when you registered for hosting package, your provider will give you a nameserver e.g. "ns1.cashman.com"... note the name given you, then loggin to your domain control panel, look for change nameserver... and put the name as above in there usually you will have 4 fields but you will be required to put in two i.e. ns1.cashman.net & ns2.cashman.net.

After some ours if you type in your new domain name it points straight to your hosting company. Assumming you have a page published already, the page will be displayed.

Search Host.sam file in windows directory or system32 directory add the domain name with following way.

IP No. ----- Host Name
127.0.0.1 ----- localhost

Your domain name provider would be able to do that for you.

Contact your provider through email or live chat or it might be automated through the control panel of your provider site.
