get a better, free program
charging for antivirus for home use is like a tax on computing for the ignorant. most of the best competitors only charge for business use and have a free, uncrippled home user version.
e.g. Avast! or AVG

my suggestion is that you don't waste your money on norton. trust me it's crap. do your research and then go for one. may be you should put up a question on yahoo answers for people's suggestions?
i suggest trend micro's pc-cillin internet security. its a million times better than norton.
cheers
