A person can't just buy an full-auto weapon. They have to buy a stamp, go through a background check that rivals what a person has to go through to get into the FBI.
We have had mountain lion attacks. I'm to old to fight off a mountain lion with a knife, let alone with my bare hands.
Personally, I wouldn't want to get into a knife fight with a bad guy and according to Our Founding Document we are guaranteed the right to life. Bad guys have the tendency not to care about that right.
If you want to be a victim that's your right. I don't.

Because it's every Americans right to buy cheap hand guns , as life in the USA is becoming cheaper by the day.
