Big John was a one-of-a-kind comedian and actor, and one of those gifted people who could make you laugh with a simple "look"! Those big eyes were so full of emotion, but the feature that made him the most loveable was his heart! I remember the sadness I felt when I found out that that big heart finally gave out on him!

Yes, I really do. I was very sad when he died. He brought a lot of people a lot of joy.
Of all the movies I will watch over and over, couple of them are his...Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck, even Summer Rental.
My best friend's fave movie is Cool Runnings.

I was a huge fan of his when I was a kid growing up on '80s movies. I liked the fact that he was funny, but not obnoxious. It's kinda sad that we had to lose him so fast. I was definitely shocked when I heard of his death. I was only like 9 at the time.

Yeah, he was pretty funny, still remember him in uncle buck and that vacation movie he was in, great outdoors and like cool runnings
