My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

I have heard that it is not necessarily more sanitary. Plus- he will be losing a lot of the sensation because most of the nerves are supposedly in the area. Why did God create the foreskin; just to have it removed?

Is he concerned with looks or what? Does he think he has problems with self-control?

I would like to know what it is like to have what I lost as a baby. If I ever have a son in the future I will not allow this to be done to him.

As far as I believe it is not required for salvation.

5 Yet, some of those of the sect of the Pharisees that had believed rose up from their seats and said: “It is necessary to circumcise them and charge them to observe the law of Moses.”

28 For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to YOU, except these necessary things, 29 to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If YOU carefully keep yourselves from these things, YOU will prosper. Good health to YOU!” Acts 15: 5, 28-29

This is a very sensitive subject, but to tell the truth - circumcised men have "cleaner" and less odorous private areas. I hope I haven't offended anyone with the truth.

I circumcised when I was baby it's from my religion because it's cleaner, under this piece of skin there are a lot of dirty bacteria that cause lots of diseases. I think it's a very good thing for you and him if he did it.

My husband had it done when he was 39, it was very painful and I think he would have not done it if he had known how painful it was. But later I think he was ok with it because he didn't have any more infection .

Buy yourself a nice dildo, because your husband is gonna be out of commision for a very long time.
