There is *no* way to guarantee the birth of a boy. You can, however, increase the chances. The only method with any scientific evidence behind it is the Shettles method (see sources section below). However, since it is only 75-90% successful, you should only use it if you will be thrilled to have a baby of either sex. Also, read the book for the highest likelihood of getting a boy; don't just read the Web site.

ok here I go I did some research to answer ur quetion and actually their is a couple of things u can do to have a boy. Ok #1 basically, men produce 2 types of sperms, the x (female) and y (male). According to my reserch the y sperms are smaller, weaker, but faster than their siblings
x sperms, wich are bigger, stronger, but slower. The most important aspect is timing ur monthly cycle, the closer to ovulation you have sex, the better the chances to having a boy, because the y sperms are faster and tend to get to the egg first. #2 woman's orgasm can also be important. When a woman has an orgasm, the body releases some kind of substance that makes the enviorment more, favoring boys. #3 position of intercourse, deep penetration rear-entery (doggie style) places the sperm closer to the egg, and gives those aggresive boy sperms a head start. #4 the men should wear loose underwear only. #5 finally, in trying for boy have a nice cup of caffeinated coffe for the men, right before sex. Note: some women are naturally acidic and have a hard time conceving boys. I hope this helps u ..

I just gave this answer to someone who wants a girl!

There are a number of pre-conception gender selection methods in circulation, but none work all of the time.

The programs are not as simple as eating yams every day, but nutrition for both parents-to-be is one component, as is ovulation monitoring and after-sex positions.

You have to follow the program for about 3 months before conception to great a physical environment more hospitable to one gender or another. Two great book on the subject are called "Chasing the Gender Dream" by Jennifer Merrill Thompson and "How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby" by Landrum Shettles.

That said, why do you desperately need a girl? This kind of gender engineering is important for people who have or carry diseases, like Haemophilia, that endangers only boys, for example. Most people just love the children they're given with all their hearts.

I was always told to have sex as close to your ovulation date or shortly after for better chances of having a boy, but if you wanted a girl you should have sex right at the beginning of your ovulation time.

Good luck which ever you have.

You can not choose what you get, unless you adopt. Just be thankful, boy or girl. Some people never get to have either.
Good Luck!

Why, a baby girl is great also, so don't be disappointed if it is a girl, God will give you what he wants you to have and you must be satisfied. I wish you all the best.
