Just watch out for the sick while you do it.

As long as the infant is in very good control of his/her head/neck then it's OK, but at this point it is still a little early to throw them up in the air and catch. The quick jogging of the neck can injure them still. Just be careful when you do it. Go slowly and eventually you'll be throwing him/her up in the air and you'll both be having a great time.

"Can" means: Is someone able to do this. So, the answer is: it depends on your age and strength.

I think you may be asking, "should" one do this? Then, again, that depends on your age and strength. It also depends on the age of the baby and how firmly attached the head is to the neck. For some babies, it may not be a good idea. I'd say don't do it for a baby of less than six months.

As long as the baby has good control of their head, yes

TO PANDAK: I have yet to see a baby whose head is not ATTACHED to it's neck. But if for some reason the baby's head is not FIRMLY attached to his or her neck - get to the ER immediately. (quit being so critical of someone's grammar and think about what you are saying)

yes, just do not throw them up if you know what I mean. They are strong enough to keep their body alligned before 6 months.
