Who here has Piranas as pets? What have you found most interesting about them?

the most interesting thing about paranah..is that ppl think they will eat your alive.
you could swim with them and they will leave you be. they eat dead or rotting flesh. scavengers of the water.
but its always funny to yell, "paranah!!!" and push someone in!

I don't want to have Piranas as a pet. The idea's just stupid! Piranas live in the wild, how can u possibly feed them without be eaten urself!
There're enough pets on EArth of human, so let the rest stay wild! Animals arent born for being a pet!

I do, I have a huge Tank/Pond thingy in my back yard, there are about 13 Piranas in there, 1 died :(.
Ohh, the most intresting thing about them is, when my friends are annoying, I lie to them that the pond/tank/ is actually a POOL, and I make them go in there.
LOL, and it works.

We had one once, orig we thot it was a Pacu, but after it bit my finger and drew blood, everytime I went near the tank, it frenzied.....sold it back to the pet store.....

my dad has had them for pets. he likes them because their beautiful to him. i think they are stupid fish because they hit the glass of the tank like a ping pong ball when you walk by the tank. i like red devils better.

i do have a pet but not a prihana for sure . but thats really cool

i dnt have pet pirhanas...but i saw once on tv...discovery channel or sumthn...that sum tribal peole use pirhana teeth...to give haircuts!!!!
no wonder i dont have them as pets!!!
but i think thats pretty cool
