People dress according to their individual preferences. I wonder sometimes if women dress to get the attention from men. Sometimes I have seen women dressing up provocatively or maybe just flirtaciously accentuating their cleavage or buttocks! This surely catches the eyes of many men. Is this a welcome reaction?

That is one of those matter of opinion questions. Women do like attention that is very true. I don't see how showing off wouldn't be asking for it. But at the same time women always get offended. It is a double edged sword. They even brought that up in my health class back in high school. We spent like half the class talking about how just because someone dresses a certain way doesn't warrant explicit behavior from others. But in my opinion if a chick dresses that way it is because she does like the attention, even if she doesn't show it.

it's hard to generalize for it is different for each and every woman. some dress because they feel confident with themselves especially if they have good bodies. it boosts their self-esteem. some dress not only to get attention from men but also of others, even other women. but of course, depending on the woman's preference, wearing sexy clothes does not automatically mean that she is dressing to provoke attention. but, if a woman dresses up provocatively, she has to know that it will catch the eyes of many. if she does not want that kind of reaction, she should not have dressed up that way in the first place.

Some women feel confident in there bodies so why not show it off?? Some women may dress for the attention, but not every women does and not every women likes to welcome that reaction. It all depends on the women. Just because she dresses sexy does NOT mean she's always looking for sexual attention.

Sometimes it is.
Other times, especially with typically modest women, the accents just kind of happen when they dress up. That's usually my problem... I dress up to look nice, and I get attention. *glares randomly* "Why can't you treat me like normal??? Is it because I'm in a dress???!?"
Unfortunately, lots of women are caught in the paradox of looking sexy, but not getting enough attention to be considered a slut.

Some women dress in such a way, because they feel good about themselves and want to show off their bodies. Other women dress in such a way, because they love the attention they receive by doing so.

A woman who dresses provacatively IS dressing according to her personal preference. If you feel good about your body and you enjoy sassy clothes, it is your absolute right to dress to suit your own tastes. Unless this woman is your minor daughter, how she dresses is none of your business. If you think it's improper, then it's up to you not to look. An individual dresses to please herself, not you. Mind your own morals and nobody else's.

honestly? women choose different dresses for different reasons . it could be 4 a number of things .... for night out with or without guy or girl friends, 4 sexual reasons, to have fun or to just feel good about themselves.
