Make sure to get plenty of calcium and excercise. Also make sure to get at least 15 minutes of sun a day so you get enough vitamin D so you can absorb the calcium.

Nutritionally sound diet, WEIGHT BEARING excercise...walking is perfect....and I hear that coral calcium is a good supplement to add but I dont know from my own personal experience.

no seriously the best thing you can do is eat right, look after your body do not get too overweight or underweight Being overweight puts strain on the body, being underweight depletes the nutritional health level of the bones). and when lifting, lift everything right. (straight back, knees bent etc)
